Introducing the Hemodialysis Machine
The Bioartificial hemodialysis machine is a small free-standing bioartificial kidney implanted into the pelvis area of the patient in order to treat kidney failure. This machine mimics the functions of a normal human kidney with the added benefits of not needing to wait for a donor and eliminating the long wait times dying patients have to endure.
